Photographs and dummy book project, 2019 - 2020

Literal parts of part.
There are many 'parts' that are divided into

a one image and want to focus on them.
A part is something is one of the pieces, sections.

so it exists only when it is in its entirety.

This project came from the idea that we all are a mere part of mother nature,

and that each person is attracted to a different ‘part’ from others.

자연의 한 부분을 담은 사진을 다른 시선으로 접근하기 위해 이미지에 반전을 주어 변형하였고, 부분을 더 강조하기 위해 한 장의 이미지를 9분할로 나누어 책으로 제작하였다.

'부분'을 더 개인의 시선대로 바라볼 수 있도록 바인딩을 하지 않은채 더미북을 제작하였다. 더미북의 부분들을 다양하게 조합해서 또 다른 나만의 부분을 만들 수 있다.

부분에 대한 인지와 집중의 시간을 가지며 지극히 주관적인 시선과 경험을 대입해 깊게 고민해보길 바란다.
